Here is a quote from Ciaran regarding his work:

"The photographs are all taken with a 35ml camera. They are then sized and printed with archival inks on a satin finish photo paper and mounted on the emulsion side of the polaroid. (This is the part of the polaroid that is discarded, so these are recycled items). Personally I love the dry emulsion on one end and the instructions for the polaroid process on the other end.It leads to confusion on the viewers part, some people think they are looking at instructions for making tea. This confusion adds a whole new dimension to the artwork. Aren't they wonderful?"
