Gallery Number One celebrates the creative link between art, music and popular culture. We are the brainchild of Dublin Creative Agency ebow and we can't wait to meet YOU!
We have finally finished installing The James Rizzi Room with some great new pieces…it launched officially on Culture Night (a great bash was had by all!) and is now open to the public…come on in, sip a beer and enjoy!
Our lights are costing us a fortune. So is the economy. Sooooo…we’re turning them off at night time during the weekdays to save the earth, save some money and save our souls.
We are still all shiny and bright on Friday and Saturday nights though so peekers, lovers, strippers and flashers are all welcome!!
Thank you to all the artists who have sent us in samples of their work. We have had a great reaction and therefore we have lots of work to get through. We hope to be in touch with everyone with a Yay or a Nay by late next week.
Our current windows are creating quite a stir and have people dropping in all day to find out more about the artist… he’s a German guy called Jorg Doering and we now have a selection his work on our site – we like to wait a while before we put our artists work online as it’s in the flesh that counts the best!
The piece in the Sunday Business Post states that the Rizzi show runs until March 26th. This is incorrect – the show opens on March 26th and will run for a minimum of 3 weeks so we look forward to seeing you then!
James Rizzi, a contemporary of Warhol and Haring, is one of the worlds largest selling POP Artists. His work can be seen all over New York City and all over the world. His paintings have featured on Seinfeld. He has designed three Volkswagen Beatles. He has painted the “Happy Rizzi House” and on top of all that he is coming to Dublin to meet YOU!
Rizzi will be at Gallery Number One in person to launch his show on March 26th!
