Gallery Number One

Happy Christmas to one and all from us here at Gallery Number One! We know there are people contemplating in a frenzy of shopping over the next few days and we feel for you! Don’t forget to come up and check out the work currently on display in the gallery – we’re open right up until 6pm on Christmas Eve.

Due to popular demand we are extending the David Corio show for another week or so, so if you haven’t already been to see it, you still have time!

We know everybody is going through the throes of Christmas shopping hell and we’d like to make your life a little easier by suggesting some brilliant Christmas presents which can be found here at Gallery Number One! Don’t say we never did nothing for ya!

We have lots of David McGlynn photography available, ranging from framed photographs of urban streetscapes at €120 through to larger C-Prints at €800.

We also still have some of Colm Mac Athlaoich’s profile illustrations available which are ‚Ǩ350 framed. In addition we have some of Colm’s dog paintings for sale which start at ‚Ǩ730.

David Corio’s amazing black and white shots of Tom Waits, Van Morrison, Phil Lynott, Shane McGowan and U2 are available and prices start at ‚Ǩ630 for a framed shot.

We also have some gorgeous Gered Mankowitz work in the gallery ranging from framed silk screens of Jimi Hendrix through to unframed silk screens of Keith Richards, Mick Jagger and the Stones.

Of course our Mick Rock shots would make a fantastic Christmas present for those of you with slightly larger budgets! Framed shots of Debbie Harry, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Bob Marley and Lou Reed are available and are all priced at €1940.

Some of our photography can also be seen in Genius in the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre where it will be displayed for the next short while.

Our good friends down at Genius are having their Christmas Customer Evening tonight from 6-9pm. We have provided them with our fabulous Mick Rock photographs to lend some rock and roll glamour to their walls, so for one night only Debbie Harry, David Bowie, Bob Marley, Freddie Mercury and Lou Reed can be seen in Genius! In addition to our photographs, Gallery Number One Manager Alex Donald will be DJing in Genius from 6-9 too. So come down for a fun night in Powerscourt Townhouse Centre with good tunes, great photos and amazing clothes! What more do you want?!
